The theme for our Lent Course at St Mary's this year is prayer and we will be learning together how to weave prayer into our daily lives.

If you wonder sometimes how to pray, this course is for you.  Although there are no right or wrong ways to pray and no one can claim to be an expert "prayer", it is helpful if we can find a way to pray which suits our own personality.   We are told that prayer is just "talking to God", but while talking to our friends comes easily, we often find that talking to God does not.  In these five sessions we will explore together some different ways of praying.

The course will be on Tuesday evenings in Lent from 8.00 to 9.30 p.m. in the United Reform Church.   The first session will be on 23rd February, then 2nd March, 9th March, 16th March and the final one on 23rd March.   There will be handouts given at each session.
If you can't manage all the dates, you don't have to come every session.   It would be really helpful if you could let me know if you are likely to come so I know how many people I need to prepare for.
