"Life Calling? what does God want me to do with my life?"
As Lent 2008 comes hard on the heels of new year, with its well meaning resolutions probably abandoned at the first hurdle, we are perhaps by now beginning to wonder what life is all about, what are we here for? As we race through life at a punishing pace, we need time to reflect and think, to reassess our lives and our priorities. What is it that God wants us to do? Attending a course in Lent gives us the chance to stop, think and reflect.
This Lent course is based on the book called 'Life Calling', which looks at our "vocation". Don't be put off by the word "vocation" it is only what God wants us to do with the unique skills he has given us. The trick is to find out what that is! The course is innovative in its approach, using clips from the film Billy Elliot as well as some excellent activities and discussion topics. We will also learn together how to keep a spiritual journal, as we edge towards becoming the people we were made to be.
Dates:
