In previous years this important service has taken place at All Souls-tide at the beginning of November in the cold and the dark.  This year we have decided to link Remembrance of Departed Loved Ones with Easter - the festival of new life and resurrection.  Our United Benefice service when the names of the departed loved ones will be read out and candles lit in their memory will this year be on Easter Day (APRIL 8th) at 6.00pm at All Saints', Feering.  This will link our remembrance of the dear departed to Our Lord's resurrection when the church after Lent will be adorned and decorated with beautiful Easter flowers.  Do let the vicar have the names of those you would like commemorated at the service.
